College Round-up

Will Dodson of Southern Methodist University earned the Conference-USA individual medalist title last week. His 13-under-par helped lift his team to top team honors. Central Florida's Sonny Nimkhum shot an 8-under-par to finish in second. He was followed by Brad Benjamin at 7-under-par and Dodson's teammate Colt Knost at 6-under-par.

The PAC-10 Conference Championship was dominated by AJGA alum last week. UCLA's Daniel Im took home individual medalist honors with a 7-under-par 277. Niklas Lemke of Arizona State finished one stroke back at 6-under-par. Rounding out the top three was Erik Olson of Washington who fired a 3-under-par 281. UCLA took home the team medalist honors.

The Cavalier Classic was held over the weekend with Virginia's Brad Tilley pulling out the individual honors in a three-way playoff over Blaine Peffleyof Maryland and Stephen Lewton of NC State. Maryland took home top team honors with Peffley's teammate John Eades finishing one stroke back of the leaders at 1-over-par. Eades tied for fourth with Scott Marino of James Madison.

Northwestern's Alice Kim earned individual honors at the Big Ten Conference Championship last week. Her 3-over-par was one stroke better than Michigan State's Sara Brown, Ohio State's Carling Coffing and Purdue's Maria Hernandez. Hernandez helped lead Purdue to the Big Ten Conference Championship.

Louisville held three of the top five spots at the Big East Conference Championship. Adrienne White led the way, taking home the individual title with her even-par 216. Notre Dame's Noriko Nakazaki finished four strokes back in second and South Florida's Jessica Buchta finished alone in third. White's teammates Cindy LaCrosse and Cristina Gonzalez finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Joe McLister of Delaware helped lead his team to medalist honors with his individual title at the Scotty Duncan Memorial. His 2-under-par was one stroke better than Wesley's Tyler Smith. Brian McClure of Fordham finished alone in third...Derek Fathauer of Louisville finished at 14-under-par at the Big East Conference Championship to earn the individual title. Notre Dame took home the team title with Mark Baldwin leading the way at 4-under-par...The Missouri Valley Conference Championship was held last week with Wichita State taking home the title. Ryan Spears led the way with his 3-under-par...Long Beach's Ryan Panichpakdeefinished at 16-under-par to take home the individual title at the Big West Conference Championship...Texas's Matthew Rosenfeld finished at even-par and earned the Big 12 Conference Championship individual title...New Mexico's Jay Choi finished at 1-under-par at the Mountain West Conference Championship to take home top medalist honors...Northwestern earned the team honor at the Big Ten Conference Championship led by Chris Wilson at 4-under-par. Trailing him by one stroke was Ryan Brehm of Michigan State...Iona's Kyle Underwood shot 1-under-par to finish atop the leaderboard at the Metro Atlantic Conference Championship last week.

Jenelle Gomez of San Jose State earned individual honors at the WAC Championship, helping to lift her team to top honors...Paige Mackenzie of Washington finished at 5-under-par at the PAC-10 Championship last week to earn the individual medalist honors. She was trailed by Alissa Kuczka of Arizona State who finished at 1-under-par. UCLA's Tiffany Joh finished tied for third at even-par. She was the top finisher for UCLA who earned the team medalist honors...UC Irvine's Selanee Henderson finished atop the leaderboard at the Big West Conference Championship. Teammate Jane Chin finished second. They boosted their team to the top team honors...Oral Roberts took home the Mid-Continent Championship title led by Jessica Gibson who finished second with a 6-over-par 222 tournament total.
