Randy Wise Automotive Team to Sponsor AJGA Event
Junior golf event to be held July 10-13 in Grand Blanc, Mich.

Randy Wise Automotive Team, which consists of five automobile dealerships in southeast Michigan, will sponsor the Randy Wise Junior Open to be held July 10-13, 2007, the American Junior Golf Association announced Thursday. The event will be held at Flint Elks Lodge 222 Golf Club in Grand Blanc, Mich.

The 99-player, 54-hole event will feature the nation’s top junior boys and girls, ages 12-18. The first round will be held Tuesday, July 11, with the second and final rounds being played Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13, respectively.

“We are happy to sponsor this AJGA event because of the recognition it brings to the area and the benefit to Flint junior golf,” said Randy Wise. “It provides valuable competition for the young boys and girls in a sport they can play for the rest of their lives.”

Flint Elks Lodge 222 will play host to the Randy Wise Junior Open.

The AJGA has conducted an event in the Flint area since 1985. Past notable champions include Phil Mickelson, Paula Creamer and Morgan Pressel.

“The AJGA is excited to return to the Flint area,” said Lee Pinchouck, AJGA VP/Midwest Regional Director. “This event has always attracted the top junior golfers as evidenced by the past champions. We are happy to begin a new relationship with the Randy Wise Automotive Team and we know they will be great partners for the event.”

The Randy Wise Automotive Team, which consists of Buick, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Lincoln, Mercury and Pontiac dealerships, has five locations in Southeast lower Michigan. The dealerships provide new and pre-owned sales, vehicle financing, service, parts and collision repair.
