AJGA teams up with Avis for member benefits in 2012

The American Junior Golf Association and Avis Rent A car announced a new partnership for the 2012 season which will provide special discounts and Avis Preferred Service to AJGA members and their families.

“We are excited to again have the support of Avis for AJGA members and parents,” said Jason Etzen, chief business officer. “The brand represents savings, service and safety in making travel reservations, which is the best benefit for our membership.”

Avis and Budget will serve as the preferred rental car brands of the AJGA, presenting savings on vehicles for all AJGA event-related and personal travel. The new relationship provides a variety of benefits including:

·         Savings on rental rates in the U.S., Canada and international locations
·         Complimentary enrollment in Avis Preferred Service and Budget Fastbreak Programs
·         Seasonal offers including money off weekly and weekend rentals, SUVs and specialty vehicles
·         Guaranteed use of a non-smoking vehicle in the U.S. and Canada

·         AJGA membership-exclusive offers available through the player center, AJGA website and registration packet

Avis Preferred Service, which is available at more than 1,400 locations worldwide, keeps membership preferences on file, allowing for a bypass of the rental counter and a faster start to travel.
