AJGA alum Carl Pettersson earned his fifth PGA TOUR victory over the weekend at the RBC Heritage after finishing second in his last event, the Shell Houston Open.
Originally from Sweden, Pettersson moved to the U.S. in high school. He was able to play two years with the AJGA and eventually earned a scholarship to attend NC State University. After winning the European Amateur in 2000, he turned professional.
