Using GPS data across 19,000 charted courses (including PGA TOUR events), ShowMeGolfers allows players to record shots during play, while providing updates on the round. The app also allows members to keep track of statistics such as driving accuracy, driving distance and greens in regulation. The AJGA will introduce the concept at select events throughout the 2012 season.

“The AJGA is pleased to introduce the ShowMeGolfers program to our members,” said Mark Oskarson, AJGA Chief Operating Officer. “The platform represents an educational tool for the future of golf, facilitating increased interest, development and understanding of the game.”

In 2012, all AJGA members will receive a complimentary subscription to the website in addition to use of the app.

“ShowMeGolfers is excited to partner with the AJGA,” said Erik Winther, CEO & founder of ShowMeGolfers. “ShowMeGolfers is all about getting the right information at the right time to make golf a better experience for everyone – both players and parents.”

ShowMeGolfers not only gives yardages on the course, but allows players to record shots for self-analysis and join a network where others can watch the round live through the app, or by going to ShowMeGolfers.com.

The app “ShowMeGolf” can be downloaded for free on the iTunes App Store .
