Stacy Lewis earned her fourth LPGA victory of the year at the Mizuno Classic, Nov. 1-4, in Shima, Japan. Lewis rallied from a seven-stroke deficit to finish with an 8-under-par 64 and a one-stroke victory.
She previously won the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic in April, the ShopRite LPGA Classic in June and the Navistar LPGA Classic in September. This is her fifth career victory, winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship last year.
Lewis AJGA career included nine tournaments, highlighted by a T4 finish at the 2002 Aarons / Bob Estes Abilene Junior and a seventh-place finish at the 2002 Junior All-Star at Colonial. Following her junior career, she attended the University of Arkansas. A four-time All-American, Lewis recorded 12 collegiate victories and was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2005.
