Brad Dalke of Hobart, Oklahoma, and Andrea Lee of Hermosa Beach, California, will join the American Junior Golf Association Board of Directors upon being selected Player Representatives for the 2015 season.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the AJGA is governed by a Board of Directors, which meets quarterly to discuss relevant topics concerning the state of the Association. Player Representatives are the voice of the AJGA membership, which includes more than 6,300 members from all 50 states and more than 51 foreign countries.

“It means so much to me to represent the AJGA,” Dalke said.  “The AJGA has helped me get to where I am now, and to be able to represent this organization is an honor. I hope I can do a good job representing the players and giving everyone a good image of what the AJGA is like as an organization. It will be a fun year ahead!”

An AJGA member since the age of 12, Dalke, now 17, has established himself as a top player both in talent and sportsmanship. He became the youngest AJGA boy to win an Invitational with his victory at the 2011 Thunderbird International Junior, and has since earned two additional Invitational titles, eight top-five finishes and four years of first-team Rolex Junior All-America honors.

Dalke has demonstrated his ability to lead his peers as a four-time member of the Wyndham Cup West squad and when he represented the United States at the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy in 2013. Dalke will serve as Player Representative in his final junior season before he begins his collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma.

“I’m very grateful and honored to be able to represent the players of the AJGA,” Lee said. “I’m looking forward to working on behalf of the players and assisting the Board members in the upcoming year.”

Lee’s appointment as Player Representative highlights an incredible year for the four-time Rolex Junior All-American. She was named Rolex Junior Player of the Year after back-to-back Invitational victories and five top-10 finishes. Over the course of four AJGA seasons, Lee, 16, has competed on the PING Junior Solheim Cup U.S. squad and represented the West at the Wyndham Cup – compiling a 10-2-0 career record which is the sixth-best career record for a girl. A 2016 grad, she has excelled in the classroom and will continue her collegiate career at Stanford.

Dalke and Lee follow in the footsteps of Jorge Garcia of Miami, and Samantha Wagner of Windermere, Florida, who served as Player Representatives for the 2014 season.
