Dow, Smith among winners at Sunday's events

Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship

Brandon Smith of Frisco, Texas, shot 2-under-par 142 to defend his title at the Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship. Riley Casey of Abilene, Texas, also finished at 2-under-par 142 and headed to extra holes where Smith defeated Casey in a one-hole sudden-death playoff. In the Girls Division, Courtney Dow also of Frisco, Texas, won on her home course, shooting 2-under-par 142 on the Fazio Course at Stonebriar Country Club. Entering the final round, Dow was one stroke ahead of Xinying Wang, and her even-par-72 spurred her to a three-stroke victory.

Bishops Gate Golf Academy Preseason Junior at Ocala

Benjamin Hjort from Malung, Sweden, and Calle Hagstrom of Saro, Sweden, were named co-medalists of the Boys Division after finishing with a tournament total of 3-under-par 141 at the Bishops Gate Golf Academy Preseason Junior at Ocala. Hjort and Hagstrom both posted four birdies in the final round to help secure their shared victory. Christina (Siqing) Lu of (China) Longwood, Florida, finished at 6-over-par 150 to medal in the Girls Division. Lu’s final-round 4-over-par 76 enabled her to close five strokes ahead of second-place finisher Rina Jung of Briarcliff, New York.

Preseason Junior at North Hampton presented by the City of Jacksonville

Logan Membrino of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, shot 1-under-par 143 and earned medalist honors at the Preseason Junior at North Hampton presented by the City of Jacksonville. In the final round, Membrino held off the field by firing off three birdies to finish even-par 72. In the Girls Division, Alexa Rivas of Miami, Florida, earned medalist honors after shooting 8-over-par 152 at The Golf Club at North Hampton. Rivas finished strong carding four birdies in her last seven holes to win by one stroke over Claire Fitzgerald of Lake Mary, Florida.

Preseason Junior at Diablo Grande

Ryan Grauman of Alamo, California, who began the day down by one stroke, carded a 1-under-par 71 to earn medalist honors in his first-ever AJGA event. After shooting an even-par 36 on the front nine, Grauman finished his first AJGA event with a birdie on No. 18 to put an exclamation point on his three-stroke win. Hannah Ko of Anaheim, California, shot a 2-over-par 73 to keep her spot atop the Girls Division leaderboard. The 14-year-old freshman won by five strokes in her first AJGA event.
