Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Preseason Junior at Innisbrook

Jesus Montenegro of Mar del Plata, Argentina, shot a 1-over-par 141 to earn medalist honors at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Preseason Junior at Innisbrook. Montenegro played consistently throughout the final round, to put himself in a competitive position before going neck-and-neck on No. 18 with second-place finisher, Nico Gagliardi of Viera, Florida. Montenegro went on to par the hole to claim medalist honors.

Ramya Meenakshisundaram of Jacksonville, Florida, medaled in the Girls Division after shooting a tournament total of 3-over-par 143 on the North Coursse at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club. Meenakshisundaram maintained a first-round six-stroke lead to medal in her first AJGA event.

Preseason Junior at Cimarron Hills

Ben Dunne of Cedar Park, Texas, and Luke Dossey of Austin, Texas, shot 2-over-par 146 to earn medalist honors at the Preseason Junior at Cimarron Hills. This was Dossey’s second AJGA event after he qualified his way into the Bishops Gate Golf Academy Junior at Horseshoe Bay last week. In Dunne’s first AJGA event, he carded three birdies in his final round.

In the Girls Division, Valerie Routzong of Richmond, Texas, medaled after shooting 13-over-par 157 at Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club. Routzong went wire-to-wire in her first-ever AJGA event to claim a first-place finish by two strokes.

Preseason Junior at Walnut Creek

Sully Billingsley of Arlington, Texas, shot a 1-under-par 139 to earn medalist honors at the Preseason Junior at Walnut Creek.  Billingsley carded four birdies during the final round to pace the field in his first AJGA event by three strokes.

In the Girls Division, Kyong Kim of Crowley, Texas, claimed the Girls Division medalist honors after shooting 4-over-par 146 at Walnut Creek Country Club. Kim held on to her first-round lead during her first AJGA career event.

Preseason Junior at Cypress Ridge

Mikey Slesinski of Fremont, California, held onto his first-round lead to pace the field at the Preseason Junior at Cypress Ridge by going wire-to-wire with a 3-over-par 147 tournament total. Slesinski topped the leaderboard in his first AJGA event, using a strong 2-under-par 70 in the first round.

In the Girls Division, Olivia White and Leila Dizon, both of Los Angeles, each finished with a 9-over-par 153 tournament total to earn medalist honors. Dizon and White both birdied the final hole to share medalist honors at Cypress Ridge Golf Club.
