Three things for Sunday at the Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF

 1. Catch up on highlights from the first round. We caught a few great shots despite the challenging conditions with rain and wind – see if yours made the cut!

2. Only one stroke separates the Boys Division leaders Canon Claycomb of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Edwin Kuang of Murrieta, California, with Devondeep Bling of Ridgecrest, California. Bling finished ninth in his last appearance in the 2013 Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF. A second-round 3-under-par 69 helped the UCLA verbal commit move into the top 10 during the rain-shortened event.

3. Near the top of the Girls Division leading into Moving Day are Hailey Jones of Dallas, Yealimi Noh of Concord, California, and Grace Ni of Cypress, Texas. Jones has not finished outside the top three during her 2015 campaign with ties at second and third (Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship and TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior All-Star at Traditions). She competed in the 2014 Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club’s Ghost Creek course and is No. 30 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Noh finished inside the top eight in four of the five AJGA events she played in 2015. The 14-year-old is ranked No. 52 in the Polo Golf Rankings and she collected a pair of third-place finishes at AJGA Open events (AJGA Junior at Yolo Fliers, Bishops Gate Golf Academy Junior Open). Ni won the Junior All-Star at Lost Springs presented by Visit Bentonville and finished second one week later at the IZOD AJGA Championship. The 14-year-old has collected six top-10 finishes so far in her AJGA career.
