RBC Heritage
Matt Kuchar won the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head Island, S.C., by one stroke over Luke Donald. Kuchar holed out from the bunker on No. 18 to shoot a final-round 64 and an 11-under-par tournament-total 273.
 
Kuchar played in AJGA events for four years from 1993-1996. Kuchar put together seven top-five finishes in his AJGA career including a runner-up finish to fellow TOUR player Ben Curtis at the 1994 Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior. Kuchar was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American (1994, 1995).
 
LPGA LOTTE Championship Presented by J Golf
Michelle Wie claimed her first victory in four years with a 14-under-par 274. She edged out Angela Stanford and Inbee Park for the win.
 
Park played in AJGA tournaments from 2001-2005. During her five years playing with the AJGA she amassed eight victories, including the 2005 Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club, the 2003 Rolex Tournament of Champions and the 2003 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. In addition to her nine victories, the five-time Rolex Junior All-American had five top-five finishes and played on the 2002 and 2004 Wyndham Cup East Teams.

ACE

The Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program provides financial assistance to junior golfers who wish to play in AJGA events. Its goal is to give top-flight golf opportunities to young golfers regardless of financial resources. This program helps to fulfill the AJGA’s mission of developing young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.

What is Leadership Links?

Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
