Eli Myers of Northbrook, Illinois, took home a victory over the weekend in the Boy’s Division (Ages 13-14) of the Dupage County Junior Classic at Maple Meadows Golf Course. Myers parred his last seven holes to defeat fellow AJGA member, Conan Pan of Vernon Hills, Illinois, by one stroke at 4-over-par 144. Myers played in the 2018 TaylorMade / adidas Golf Boys Junior All-Star and is currently in his second year with the AJGA.

Jona Angela Magcalayo of Santa Rosa, Philippines, topped the Girl’s Division (Ages 16-18) at the JGS Golf Pride State College Series in State College, Pennsylvania. After struggling on the front nine carding three early bogeys, Magcalayo managed to birdie No. 6 and gain momentum for the rest of the round. Finishing at 3-over-par 75, Magcalayo parred her last eight holes to seal a two-stroke victory in the one-day tournament. Magcalayo finished T3 in the AJGA Preview at Waubeeka earlier this month.

Connor Johnson of Richmond, Virginia, edged out a Boy’s Division (Ages 15-18) victory at the 2018 Scott Robertson Memorial Golf Tournament in Roanoke, Virginia. Despite not being able to finish the back nine of the first round due to inclement weather, Johnson did not let that affect his play. Shooting a tournament-total 4-under-par 103, Johnson took home the victory by one stroke thanks to three back nine birdies in the final round. The Virginia Tech commit finished T6 at the 2017 Bobby Chapman Junior Invitational.

Sky Sudberry of The Woodlands, Texas, walked away with a two-stroke victory in the Girl’s Division (Ages 15-18) at the TJGT Gleannloch Pines Championship in Spring, Texas. Sudberry had back-to-back bogeys late in the first round leaving her at 3-over-par 74 heading into the final round. With an impressive final round and a birdie on No. 15, Sudberry captured a title shooting 4-over-par 111 in the 27-hole tournament. Sudberry finished T21 in the Tathata Golf Junior All-Star Championship in April.
