Pierceson Coody of Plano, Texas, bounces back to win the Boy’s Division (Ages 12-19) at the Thunderbird International Junior. Coody finished at 6-under-par 204 before facing James Song in a sudden-death playoff. In the final round, Coody bogeyed the 18th which forced the sudden-death round. Parring the extra hole, Coody sealed the win to earn his second AJGA victory. Currently No. 39 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Coody finished first in the 2016 Under Armour® / Jordan Spieth Championship presented by American Campus Communities.

Mika Jin of Fremont, California, dominated the final round of the Girl’s Division (Ages 12-19) at the AJGA Las Vegas Junior at Reflection Bay presented by Live View Golf to earn her second career AJGA victory. Shooting 5-under-par 67 in the final round, Jin finished the tournament with 7-under-par 209 to win by two-strokes. This is the seventh career top-ten finish for the rising junior. Jin is currently No. 169 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and won the 2017 AJGA Reno / Tahoe Junior at ArrowCreek.

Amadeo Figus of (Italy) Port St. Lucie, Florida, captured his first AJGA victory at the ACDS Dominican Junior Open presented by the Puntacana Resort & Club. Figus shot 4-under-par 212 to seal a two-stroke victory against fellow AJGA member, Kiko Francisco Coelho. With a total of 15 birdies for the weekend, Figus sealed the victory by shooting 2-under-par 70 in the final round. Figus is a part of the 2017, Transamerica Scholastic Honor Roll and is currently No. 368 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. In 2017, Figus finished T3 in the ACDS / Ryan Moore Junior at Oakbrook.

Karoline Tuttle of Lake Mary, Florida, came out victorious in a sudden-death playoff in the Girl’s Division (Ages 12-15) at the Leadbetter Junior Golf Academy Junior All-Star. Tuttle carded 3-under-par 69 in the second round to gain a lead heading into the final round. Finishing at 1-over-par 217, Tuttle sealed the victory in the sudden-death round to earn her third AJGA victory. Tuttle is currently No. 180 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and was recently featured as a Polo Ralph Lauren #InspiredPerformances player this month. Tuttle won the 2017 AJGA Preview at Fair Oaks Ranch and the 2017 Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior All-Star.
