Matthew Wolff of Agoura Hills, California, and Kaitlyn Papp of Austin, Texas, will join the American Junior Golf Association Board of Directors upon being selected Player Representatives for the 2016 season.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the AJGA is governed by a Board of Directors, which meets quarterly to discuss relevant topics concerning the state of the Association. Player Representatives are the voice of the AJGA membership, which includes more than 6,300 members from all 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries.

An AJGA member since 2014, Wolff has established himself as a top player. Wolff's energy and commitment to the AJGA's Pace of Play program sets an example for his peers. He claimed a victory in 2014 at the Junior All-Star at Tanglewood and has put together nine top-10 finshes at AJGA events. Wolff, a 2017 grad, was a member of the victorious West Wyndham Cup team and was named a First Team Rolex Junior All-American in 2015. In addition to playing golf, Wolff volunteers with the Ventura County Junior Golf Association as a mentor and leader for younger players. He played in his first tournament with the VCJGA and enjoys giving back.

"I am honored to be a player representative for the AJGA," Wolff said. "I am looking forward to getting to know some of the behind the scenes work that goes into their great tournaments. I am also looking forward to learning the business and foundation aspects of the AJGA."

Papp's appointment as Player Representative highlights an incredible year for the three-time Rolex Junior All-American. She claimed a victory at the AJGA Girls Championship and placed inside the top seven at three tournaments, including The PING Invitational. In 2014 she won The PING Invitational and over the course of four AJGA seasons, Papp, 17, has competed on the PING Junior Solheim Cup U.S. squad and represented the West at the Wyndham Cup twice. She has also put together a total of 16 top-10 finishes at AJGA tournaments. A 2017 grad, she has verbally committed to the University of Texas. In addition to her golf career, Papp is involved in her church and with an organization called CapCity Kids which helps homeless children in the Austin area.

"It's a huge honor to be a player representative and I'm extremely humbled to be chosen to represent the AJGA for 2016," Papp said. "This means a lot and I'm excited to learn more about the AJGA and see how it's run. "The AJGA has afforded me some very special opportunities and has helped me grow not only as a golfer, but as a person. I'm looking forward to a fun year representing the AJGA members with Matt."

Wolff and Papp follow in the footsteps of Brad Dalke of Hobart, Oklahoma, and Andrea Lee of Hermosa Beach, California, who served as Player Representatives for the 2015 season.
