July 15 , 2016 - A final round 64 leads to a win for Sridama

Valero Junior Texas Open

  • Jake Kuwitzky of McKinney, Texas, won his first AJGA title in the Boys Division after scoring a tournament total 10-over-par 226. Kuwitzky carded four birdies in the final round for a 4-over-par 76.
  • Second-round leader, Amber Park of Allen, Texas, won the Girls Division after posting a tournament total 14-over-par 232. She has 12 top-10 AJGA finishes in her career with this being her first AJGA title.

AJGA / CJGT Junior at Yorba Linda

  • Akshay Bhatia of Wake Forest, North Carolina, won his first AJGA Boys Division title after posting a tournament total of 3-under-par 210. Bhatia had seven birdies and two eagles on the week and posted a 3-under-par 69 final round score.
  • Rose Zhang of Irvine, California, won her second AJGA title after carding 11 birdies and an eagle on the week for a tournament total 4-under-par 209. Zhang has finished in the top-10 of all four of her AJGA events.

Wincraft / McArthur Towel & Sports Future Legends

  • Devin Deogun of Orchard Lake, Michigan, won his second consecutive AJGA title after a sudden-death playoff with Colin Caporal of Gainsville, Virginia, with a total score of 4-over-par 220. Deogun carded four birdies in the final round for a score of 1-over-par 73 to force the playoff.
  • Brianne Bolden of Mokena, Illinois, won her first AJGA title after scoring a tournament total 11-over-par 227. Bolden led throughout all three tournament rounds and had five birdies on the week.

E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by PotashCorp

  • Alex Shead of Appling, Georgia, carded 11 birdies and an eagle on the week to win the Boys Division with a tournament total score of 3-under-par 213. Shead opened his final round with an eagle on No. 2 and went on to have three birdies for a final round score of 1-under-par 71.
  • Elisa Yang of Norcross, Georgia, won the Girls Division with a tournament total of 5-under-par 211. Yang had 13 birdies on the week including five in the final round for a score of 2-under-par 70.

AJGA Junior at The Ranch

  • Putt Sridama of Bankok, Thailand, carded eight birdies and an eagle for a low final-round score of 8-under-par 64. Sridama had 16 birdies for the tournament and scored a tournament total 12-under-par 204.
  • Belinda Hu of San Ramon, California, won the Girls Division after scoring a tournament total 3-under-par 213. Hu had nine birdies on the week and a final round score of 2-over-par 74. Hu has 14 top-10 finishes in her AJGA career.

AJGA Huntsville Junior

  • Luke Zieman of Nashville, Tennessee, scored a 1-over-par 72 in the final round to win his first AJGA event. Zieman was T4 after the first round and carded a bogey-free second round of 3-under-par 68 to put him in the lead heading into the final round. Zieman had 10 birdies on the week and a tournament total of 1-under-par 212.
  • Michaela Morard of Huntsville, Alabama, won the Girls Division after carding six birdies for a final-round score of 4-under-par 67. Morard, a University of Alabama commit, had 13 birdies on the week for a tournament total of 7-under-par 206.
