Jordan Spieth closed out his first victory of 2017 on February 13th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with a bogey-free round on Sunday. The victory was Spieth’s ninth on the PGA TOUR after tallying five with the AJGA from 2007-11.

Spieth carded back-to-back 65s on Friday and Saturday to build a six-shot lead heading into the final round. With his ninth victory, Spieth becomes the second youngest player to reach nine PGA TOUR victories, one month older than Tiger Woods at the same milestone.

Former U.S. Amateur champion Kelly Kraft finished second with a final-round 5-under-par 67. Kraft competed in nine AJGA events from 2005-07 and won a Junior Golf Hub Preview Series event (then-named the Ashworth Junior at South Padre Island). Dustin Johnson, the 2016 U.S. Open champion, finished third with a closing 4-under-par 68. Johnson competed in five AJGA events from 1999-01.

Ethan Tracy provided a storybook ending to the Club Colombia Championship by Servientrega on February 13th with an incredible hole out from 101 yards on No. 18 to force a playoff. The eagle allowed Tracy to join Mexico’s Roberto Diaz in a playoff which Tracy won with a 20-foot birdie on the second extra hole.

The victory was Tracy’s first on the Web.com Tour and elevated him to the No. 1 spot on the money list. Tracy played in 20 AJGA events from 2005-08 and won two tournaments in 2008 before being named a Rolex Junior All-American.

PGA TOUR Champions

Scott McCarron won for the third time in his last 17 starts at the Allianz Championship with an eagle on the 18th hole, his second of the day. McCarron headed to the par-5 closing hole needing a birdie to force a three-way playoff before sticking a 7-iron to six feet to set up his dramatic victory.

McCarron competed in four AJGA events from 1980-83 and won the 1980 Edgewood Junior Classic in the Boys 11-14 Division.
