Rachel Kuehn of Asheville, North Carolina, won the 91st Carolinas Women’s Amateur Championship at 1-over-par 217. Kuehn is the daughter of USGA star Brenda Corrie-Kuehn, but the 15-year-old is making a name for herself in her second year with the AJGA. The Wake Forest University commit has one AJGA tournament victory, which came at the 2016 AJGA Junior All-Star at Spring Valley, and is T59 in the AJGA rankings.

Daniel Azallion of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, took the title at the South Carolina Junior Golf Association’s 22nd Jimmy Self Invitational. Azallion finished under par in both rounds of the event, to end at 6-under-par 138. His second round 67 put him one stroke ahead of the runner-up, Dixon Flowers of Sumter, South Carolina. Azallion has two top 10 finishes in his two-year AJGA career, finishing T4 at the 2016 AJGA Junior All-Star at Spring Valley and T8 at the 2016 Judie Oppenheimer Memorial Junior.

Abbey Schutte of Goodyear, Arizona, won the 2017 Nevada State Invitational for girls ages 12-14. The 12-year-old finished the first round in fourth place but recorded a 4-under-par 68 in the second round to take the title at even-par 144. Schutte is in her first year with the AJGA. She placed 16th at her first event, the 2017 AJGA Preview at La Purisima presented by Explore Lompoc.

Ford Clegg of Mountain Brook, Alabama, finished runner-up at the 2017 Future Tour Championship at 4-under-par 140. Clegg was consistent in the 36-hole tournament, shooting 2-under-par 70 in both rounds. The 17-year-old made his AJGA debut at the 2017 AJGA Preview at Château Élan, where he finished T4 out of 72 in the Boys Division.
