Three Things for Friday at #RolexGirls

Leading the Way

Coming off her T2 at the ANA Junior Inspiration, Paphangkorn Tavatanakit of Thailand, posted five birdies during the third round, including three consecutive birdies on Nos. 13 to 15 to sit at 11-under-par 205. The 17-year-old is playing in her last AJGA stroke-play event before continuing her golf career at UCLA. 

North Carolina Native

The Asheville native Rachel Kuehn, made the most of Moving Day, carding a 6-under-par 66. She maintained a bogey-free round and fired six birdies to earn a spot in the final group. The 2016 AJGA Junior All-Star at Spring Valley champion sits at 6-under-par 210 in third place. Kuehn will graduate in 2019 and is verbally committed to Wake Forest University.

Keep Climbing

Rachel Heck of Memphis, Tennessee, has finished within the top five in three AJGA Invitationals this year. Just three strokes off the lead at 8-under-par 208, Heck is seeking her first AJGA victory of 2017. The Stanford University verbal commit is playing in her second Rolex Girls Junior Championship after a T16 finish in 2016.
