Alyaa Abdulghany of Newport Beach, California, won the 2017 Thunderbird International Junior at 8-under-par 208. The three-time Rolex Junior All-American has recorded 13 top-five finishes during her time as an AJGA junior. Sitting at No. 6 in the AJGA Rankings, Abdulghany holds a 4-2-2 record as a two-time member of the Wyndham Cup West Team. She was also a member of the 2016 Junior Ryder Cup U.S. team and the 2017 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup U.S. team, where she won the individual title at 7-under-par 281. Abdulghany will play college golf at the University of Southern California in the fall.
