USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award

The USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award honors one girl and one boy who are members of the AJGA’s Leadership Links program and have demonstrated leadership skills, character and community service through volunteer and fundraising experiences. All juniors are eligible to apply for this award. In order to be considered, juniors must submit the following:

  1. Be a member of the Leadership Links program
  2. Completed application, click here
  3. A letter of recommendation from the program(s) in which you volunteer.
  4. A one page essay describing the impact your efforts have made in the local community.

Award recipients will receive four tickets to a future U.S. Open Championship of their choice, including access to the USGA hospitality area and an automatic entry into the 2011 Rolex Tournament of Champions. The recipients will be honored at the Rolex Dinner of Champions at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon on June 30, 2011.

Application deadline is April 22, 2011. Recipients will be announced on May 20, 2011.
