Aden Ye of Lake Mary, Florida, came within a stroke of tying the AJGA's 54-hole tournament total record with an 18-under-par 198 total at the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior Championship.

Ye, a verbal commit to the University of Florida, barely missed a birdie putt on the last hole to tie the record but still earned his second career AJGA victory.

Chakansim Fai Khamborn of Cincinnati, Ohio, won the event wire-to-wire at 2-under-par 214 in the Girls Division for the third win of her career.

Dylan Menante of Carlsbad, California, and Brianna Navarrosa of San Diego, earned their first career AJGA victories at the Tathata Golf Junior All-Star Championship. Menante went wire-to-wire in the 36-hole event, while Navarrosa earned her first win after three top-fives in 2016. South Atlantic Women's Amateur Championship (Sally) Ormond Beach, Florida Alexa Pano of Lake Worth, Florida, finished T3 in the event. She is noted for

being one of the youngest AJGA champions in history when she won the 2016 PDQ/Philadelphia Runner Junior at age 12.

Joaquin Niemann of Santiago, Chile, and verbal commit to the University of South Florida, finished second at the Latin America Amateur Championship event after a fierce playoff. Niemann, the highest-ranked player in the field according to the World Amateur Golf Rankings, parred the first hole before coming up short of fellow countryman and best friend Toto Gana. Niemann won the 2016 Sergio Garcia Foundation Junior Championship and is a first-team Rolex Junior All-American.
