Katie Yoo of Orlando, won the 2017 Orlando International Amateur Golf Championship and was the only women’s amateur in the field to finish the tournament under par. Yoo opened the tournament with a 3-under-par 69, and followed that up with two-straight rounds of even-par 72 to capture the title by three strokes. The high school sophomore earned her first AJGA victory in 2017 at the AJGA Junior at Gray Plantation.

Canon Claycomb of Bowling Green, Kentucky, finished his successful 2017 campaign with a fourth-place finish at the Orlando International Amateur Golf Championship. The high school sophomore carded three-consecutive under-par rounds to finish the tournament at 6-under-par 210. Claycomb earned his first AJGA Invitational victory in October at the 2017 PING Invitational, followed by a second-place finish at the Rolex Tournament of Champions.

Cory Lopez of Monterrey, Mexico, finished third at the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship at 1-over-par 285. The high school sophomore’s second-round 2-under-par 69 was her best round of the week. Lopez won her first AJGA event at the 2017 Junior Golf Hub Championship.

Jerry Ji of Hoofddorp, Netherlands, won the 2017 Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship at Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, Florida. The high school senior fired four-consecutive under-par rounds, opening with a 7-under-par 64. Ji won the tournament by seven strokes at 16-under-par 268. His best AJGA finish came in 2016 at The Junior PLAYERS Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf at T27. Ji finished T8 at the 2016 Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship.

Camille Boyd of Shanghai, China, became the first Junior Golf Tour of Asia Girl’s Division champion after her victory at the 2017 JGTA Bintan Lagoon Junior Championship presented by dwell Student Living. Boyd carded a tournament-total 2-over-par 218 behind two rounds of even-par 72, which marked the lowest of the event. The high school sophomore owns five top-10 finishes in AJGA competition, with her best finish being T3 at the 2017 Under Armour® / Scott Stallings Championship presented by Pilot Flying J. Boyd is currently No. 205 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Jiakun Li of Shanghai, China, won the Boy’s Division at the 2017 JGTA Bintan Lagoon Junior Championship presented by dwell Student Living after playing his final 14 holes of the tournament bogey free. His final-round 6-under-par 66 paved the way in his eight-stroke victory at a tournament-total 5-over-par 221. The high school junior finished T24 at the 2016 AJGA Junior All-Star at Spring Valley.
