TaylorMade / adidas Golf Boys Junior All-Star | Château Élan Golf Club 

Supported by AJGA National Sponsors TaylorMade and adidas Golf, the TaylorMade / adidas Golf Boys Junior All-Star featured 132 of the best Junior All-Star aged boys in the country. The TaylorMade and True Temper TOUR vans were on-site during the weekend, fitting players for clubs and hosting fun activities. adidas Golf provided footwear for the field. Gordon Sargent of Birmingham, Alabama, won the event after posting a record-setting 8-under-par 63 in the second round. The score was an AJGA tournament record, matched the competitive course record and was the AJGA’s fourth-lowest all-time 18-hole score.

TeensGiv.org Girls Junior Championship | PGA National Resort & Spa

The tournament is one of three AJGA events annually hosted by PGA National Resort & Spa. Erika Smith of Orlando, Florida, brought home her first AJGA win after shooting a tournament total of 6-under-par 210. Michelle McGann, the 1987 Rolex Junior Player of the Year and seven-time LPGA Tour winner, spoke to the fields of the TeensGiv.org Girls Junior Championship and the coinciding TeensGiv.org Girls Junior All-Star presented by the Spinnaker Foundation.

The tournament was hosted on the same course as the TeensGiv.org Girls Junior Championship, but for 12-15 year-olds as part of the ACDS Junior All-Star Series. In her first AJGA event, Thin Khaing of Yangon, Myanmar, secured her first AJGA win and finished at 2-under-par 70 in the final round. 

Bishops Gate Golf Academy Boys Junior Championship | Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club - Copperhead Course

The Bishops Gate Golf Academy Boys Junior Championship has been contested since 1994 with notable past champions including Charles Howell, Bud Cauley and Joaquin Niemann, the No. 1 player in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR). Shiryu (Leo) Oyo of San Diego, won his first AJGA event by sinking a 58-foot birdie putt on No. 18.

AJGA Junior at Lost Springs presented by Visit Bentonville | Lost Springs Golf & Athletic Club

Easter participants in Arkansas were treated to a second-round visit  from the Easter Bunny. Tyler Lipscomb of Carrollton, Georgia, won the Boys Division with a 5-under-par 211. Lipscomb is verbally committed to the University of Alabama. Houston's Christine Wang won the Girls Division with a score of 1-under-par 215. Lipscomb won his first AJGA event, while Wang won her second.

PING Heather Farr Classic | Longbow Golf Club

Celebrating its 20th year on the AJGA schedule, the PING Heather Farr Classic has a storied history with past champions including Paula Creamer, Inbee Park, Alison Lee, Hunter Mahan and Beau Hossler. In addition to great golf, players competed in ping-pong and cornhole and had the opportunity to test out Longbow's golf boards. Ricky Castillo of Yorba Linda, California, outdueled William Mouw of Chico, California, to claim his second PING Heather Farr Classic title in three years. After dropping back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 10 and 11, Castillo birdied three of his last seven holes to force a one-hole playoff in a thrilling finish on Easter Sunday. Serena Sepersky of Temecula, California, won her first AJGA event with a tournament total of 3-over-par 216.
