OAKLEY® named the Preferred Sunglass Provider of the AJGA for 2018

BRASELTON, Ga. – The American Junior Golf Association and Oakley , a sports brand built on a foundation of innovation and performance, announced a new partnership, making Oakley the Preferred Sunglass Provider of the organization.

The partnership between two brands committed to the growth of golf will be activated through different touchpoints throughout the year, including outfitting all AJGA staff with Oakley eyewear, offering all AJGA members an Oakley discount via the Player Center and more.

All AJGA staff and members will have access to the all-new Oakley Targetline, a lifestyle frame with performance features developed specifically for golfers. Whether swinging a driver or reading a putt, Targetline eliminates distractions by giving golfers the technology features they depend on for elite performance in an everyday lifestyle design.

“At Oakley we are committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in sport performance and that is the same mentality of all AJGA staff and members – making this partnership a natural fit,” said Cuan Petersen, Vice President, Oakley Global Sports Marketing.

Oakley eyewear comes equipped with Prizm™, a revolutionary lens technology, grounded in decades of research, that has turned eyewear into vital equipment for sports. Prizm is engineered to dramatically enhance detail and help improve performance by providing ultra-precise color tuning, designed for specific environments, including golf. Oakley has two golf specific lenses, Prizm Golf and the all-new Prizm Dark Golf, a darker lens optimized for sunny days.

“We are thrilled to have Oakley as the Preferred Sunglass Provider of the AJGA for 2018,” said Jason Etzen, Chief Business Officer of the AJGA. “Through this partnership, we are able to help our junior golfers play their best out on the course, as well as protect our staff from the sun and its damaging effects.”
