Alyssa Montgomery of Knoxville, Tennessee, won the Girl's Division with a birdie on the first playoff hole over Marissa Wenzler of Dayton, Ohio. This was the Virginia Tech commit's first AJGA victory at 4-over-par 214. Austin Greaser of Vandalia, Ohio, went wire-to-wire to win the Boys Division at 4-under-par 209. The victory is the high school junior's second in consecutive weeks, after finishing first at the AJGA Preview at La Purisima presented by Explore Lompoc. 

AJGA Junior at Yolo Fliers

Alexander Yang of Carlsbad, California, outlasted a two-hole sudden-death playoff to clinch his first AJGA victory at 4-under-par 140. His best finish prior to this breakthrough was second at the 2016 AJGA Junior at Cattail Creek. Monet Chun of Richmond Hill, Ontario, topped the Girls Division at 4-under-par 140. The University of Michigan verbal commit earned her first AJGA victory by four strokes. 

AJGA Preview at River Ridge (Ages 12-15)

Seo Yoon Choi of (South Korea) Fullerton, California, went wire-to-wire to win Girls Division medalist honors and earn her first AJGA victory. During the final round Choi had three birdies and carded a score of 3-over-par 75 for a tournament total of 1-over-par 145. Carson Kim of Fullerton, California, and Rei Harashima of Chula Vista, California, tied for Boys Division medalist honors after the final round. Kim, who led by two shots over Harashima after the first round, carded a final round score of 2-over-par 74 for a tournament total of 1-under-par 143. Harashima finished the first round tied for third after shooting 1-under-par 71. Harashima's five final-round birdies helped him shoot even-par 72 for a tournament total of 1-under-par 143.

AJGA Preview at Carolina Trace

Phoebe Carles of Clinton, South Carolina, won the Girls Division Medal after shooting a tournament-total 3-over-par 147. Carles, who began the final round two strokes off the lead, carded a pair of birdies in her first four holes to lead the 16-year-old to the top of the leaderboard for good. Her final-round score of 2-under-par 70 was also the low round in the Girls Division. Ayush Bodhale of Huntersville, North Carolina, won the Boys Division after shooting a 5-over-par 77 in the final round for a tournament-total score of 4-over-par 148. The 15-year-old, who shot 4-over-par on the front nine, recorded two birdies on the back nine to stay in contention up until the final hole. Bodhale clinched his first AJGA win with a par on the final hole – the par-5 No. 18.
