Shiryu (Leo) Oyo of (Japan) San Diego, is playing in his first Wyndham Cup. He qualified into the event for the West Team after a string of impressive finishes. He won the Bishops Gate Golf Academy Boys Junior Championship in 2018. He also had top finishes at the Sergio and Angela Garcia Foundation Junior Champinship presented by Callaway Golf and the Hunter Mahan Junior Championship presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Performance Center at The Star in 2018. Oyo is verbally committed to San Diego State University and is currently No. 20 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
