Rose Zhang of Irvine, California, nabbed her fourth AJGA tournament title at the Swinging Skirts AJGA Invitational. Zhang, the No. 3 player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, sank four birdies en route to a final-round 3-under-par 69 to take the tournament title by two strokes. The win earns Zhang an exemption into the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship in October, and it is her second AJGA invitational victory in addition to the ANA Junior Inspiration earlier this year.

Tyler Schafer of Long Beach, California, outlasted Alrik Pan of West Covina, California, in a playoff to win his first AJGA tournament title at the Lizette Salas Junior Championship at Palos Verdes. Schafer started the tournament by firing a bogey-free-4-under-par 67 in the first round, and he finished with 13 birdies in the tournament. Schafer also has 12 wins on the PGA Southern California Junior Tour since 2015.

Savannah Hylton of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, was dominant in the final round of the AJGA Junior All-Star at Irish Creek, as she fired six birdies in the round to take the Girls Division title by six strokes. The win was the first of the Furman University commit’s career, and it was her second top-10 finish.

Jay Nimmo of Benton, Kentucky needed just one playoff hole to take the Boys Division title at the AJGA Junior All-Star at Irish Creek. Nimmo birdied the playoff hole after firing a 2-under-par 69 in the final round to overcome a five-stroke deficit. The win was Nimmo’s second of 2018 and the second of his career. The sophomore also won the National Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior Presented by BrickStreet Insurance in June.
