John Daly II of Clearwater, Florida, went wire-to-wire to take the Boys 19U Division title at the International Junior Golf Tour’s MetroWest Classic. Daly utilized four birdies on his bogey-free back nine to post a first-round 2-under-par 70 for a four-stroke lead. He followed that up with a 1-over-par 73 in the final round that featured consecutive birdies on his first three holes. Daly won the tournament by four strokes at 1-under-par 143. The 15-year-old’s best AJGA finish was T8 at the 2017 AJGA Preview at Innisbrook (Ages 12-15).

Madeleine Laux of Goodyear, Arizona, came from behind to win the Girls Championship at the Phoenix Metro Jr. presented by Van’s. Laux entered the final round one stroke off the lead at 3-over-par 75, but she quickly got the ball rolling with a birdie on the par-5 No. 2. She would go on and make three more birdies to finish the round at 1-under-par 71, which was the only under-par round of the tournament. Laux ended the tournament at 2-over-par 146 and won the event by three strokes. She finished T3 at the 2017 Azahara Munoz Championship by Transamerica.

Chase Clayton of Locust, North Carolina, won the sixth event in the Winternational Junior Series at Pinehurst. Clayton, who was the 2018 Player of the Year in the series, posted consecutive rounds of 2-over-par 74 to win the tournament by four strokes at 4-over-par 148. It was his third victory in as many tries. Clayton has only played in one AJGA event, finishing T14 at the 2018 AJGA Preview at Carolina Trace.

Aysis Azarcon of Grand Prairie, Texas, took home the Girls Division title at the TJGT 2018/2019 Tour Championship Invitational. The Houston Baptist University signee was T4 and four strokes off the lead after carding a first-round 3-over-par 74 that included three birdies. Azarcon would go on to win the tournament by one stroke after posting a final-round 5-over-par 76 to finish the tournament at 8-over-par 150. The 17-year-old’s best AJGA finish was second at the 2017 AJGA Preview at Cimarron Hills.
