The 27th annual Wyndham Cup resumes Wednesday at The Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. The morning session will feature 10 foursome matches, while the afternoon session will feature five mixed four-ball matches. Here are Three Things to know before play begins.

Perfect marks

Five players won a pair of matches Tuesday. For the West, Kaiwen Liu won twice, Yealimi Noh celebrated her birthday on Tuesday with two victories, and Alyaa Abdulghany's two-point day was highlighted by a hole-in-one on No. 4. For the East, Ana Paula Valdes made a 30-foot birdie putt on No. 18 to secure a point in the morning, while 14-year-old Karl Vilips made his Wyndham Cup debut with two wins.

Marathon man

Last week, the West Team's Noah Goodwin played 149 holes (36 stroke play, 113 match play) during his run to the championship match at the U.S. Junior Amateur. He flew from Tennessee to Connecticut on Sunday, played 18 holes in the Junior-Am on Monday and only played the morning session on Tuesday, winning 1-up with partner Spencer Soosman. He will play both sessions Wednesday, starting with a foursome match with partner Philip Barbaree, the 2015 U.S. Junior Amateur champion.
