August 11, 2016 - RuQing Guan wins third straight title

FORE Performance Junior Championship

  • RuQing Guan of Guangzhou, China,won her third consecutive title with a tournament total of 8-under-par 208. Guan led throughout all three rounds and carded a bogey-free final round for a score of 4-under-par 68.
  • Lukas Clark of Holland, Pennsylvania,won the Boys Division after carding four birdies in the final round for a score of 2-under-par 70. Clark had 12 birdies and two eagles on the week for a tournament total 3-under-par 213.  

Greg Norman Champions Junior Golf Academy Junior Championship

  • SiQin Yu of Bradenton, Florida, won the Girls Division with a tournament total of 3-over-par 216. Yu carded five birdies in the final round for a 1-under-par 70 en route to her second AJGA victory.
  • Jan Schneider of Erlangen, Germany, won the Boys Division with a tournament total of even-par 213. Schneider was T5 heading into the final round and carded five birdies and an eagle for a final-round score of 5-under-par 66.

Lockton Kansas City Junior

  • Elle Nachmann of Boca Raton, Florida,won her second AJGA tournament after a sudden-death playoff against Jennie Park of Carrollton, Texas. Nachmann was T5 heading into the final round but carded four birdies for a final-round score of 1-under-par 71 to force the playoff.
  • Ross Steelman of Columbia, Missouri, won the Boys Division by four strokes with a tournament total even-par 216. Steelman had 11 birdies through three rounds of play.

 

Callaway Golf Junior Championship

  • Irene Kim of La Palma, California, claimed her first AJGA victory with a tournament total even-par 213. Tied for second heading into the final round, Kim carded three birdies on the back nine and scored a 1-under-par 70 to win.
  • Andrew Fernandes of Cerritos, California, won the Boys Division with a tournament total 5-under-par 208. Fernandes had 14 birdies on the week including three in the final round for a score of 2-under-par 69.

Cameron McCormick Junior All-Star

  • Julia Gregg of Farmers Branch, Texas, won the Girls Division by one stroke with a tournament total of even-par 216. Gregg carded 12 birdies and an eagle on the week, including three birdies and an eagle in the final round for a score of 1-over-par 73.
  • Scott Roden of Dallas won the Boys Division with a tournament total 12-under-par 204. Roden had a bogey-free first-round 63 with seven birdies and an eagle. Roden maintained the lead throughout the three rounds winning by one stroke over Bo Peng of Nanjing, China.

AJGA Junior at Forest Lake presented by Tom Holzer Ford

  • Angela Bagasbas of Danville, California, won the Girls Division with a three-day total of 228. This was Bagabas’ first AJGA victory and sixth top-15 AJGA finish.
  • Isiah Henderson of San Antonio, Texas, won the Boys Division with a tournament total of 6-under-par 207. Henderson had 15 birdies and an eagle on the week including four birdies in the final round for a score of even-par 71.
