The third round of the Junior PLAYERS Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf looks to continue on the trend of improved scores after a second round which moved 26 players under par.

Looking for a first

Cole Hammer holds a four-shot lead heading into the final round. Hammer is looking for his first Invitational win and his second win in his four-year AJGA career. Round 2 Results

Sawgrass Country Club lightens up

With improved weather conditions the course played easier with players averaging 73.4 strokes for the round. Players averaged 75.7 strokes in the first round. As compared to 11 players who shot under par in the first round, 26 players fired rounds under par in the second. The easiest hole on the golf course was par-5 No. 11 which played at a 4.7 stroke average. With weather conditions continuing to improve, the final round could feature some fireworks on the leaderboard.

A deep international field

The tournament features 23 players from 19 countries and is one of the deepest international junior golf events in the world. The international players relish the opportunity to play against the best junior golfers in the world and gain some experience playing in the United States.
