Son is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American. During the 2016 season, she placed in the top 10 at three of the four AJGA Invitationals she competed, with a season-best finish of second at the Yani Tseng Invitational presented by the Swinging Skirts. The sophomore at Norman High School also advanced to the semifinal of the 2016 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship and is No. 8 in the Polo Golf Rankings.
