BRASELTON, Ga. — The American Junior Golf Association has announced that current partner, Junior Golf Hub (www.juniorgolfhub.com ), an online community for junior athletes on the rise and college coaches seeking top talent, will extend its sponsorship as an Official Partner.

As an Official Partner of the AJGA, Junior Golf Hub will support the Junior Golf Hub Preview Series, the Junior Golf Hub Championship and the Golf Performance Center Junior Championship.

“We’re proud of our ongoing involvement with the AJGA,” said Roger Knick, founder and CEO of Junior Golf Hub and Golf Performance Center. “By becoming an Official Partner, we can deepen our commitment to support the organization’s valuable work on behalf of aspiring athletes.”

More than 500 players made their AJGA debut in one of 14 Junior Golf Hub Preview Series events in 2016. The Junior Golf Hub Preview Series, established in 2000, is the entry point for juniors looking to compete in nationally-ranked junior golf tournaments, conducted by the AJGA. More than 2,300 players who began their AJGA careers with a Preview event have signed National Letters of Intent to play college golf.

The 2017 Junior Golf Hub Preview Series will begin March 24-26, 2017, with three events throughout the United States.

“The AJGA is excited to expand its partnership with Junior Golf Hub and Golf Performance Center,” said Jason Etzen, AJGA Chief Business Officer. “The relationship allows both the AJGA, Junior Golf Hub and Golf Performance Center to grow junior golf and create exciting opportunities for junior golfers throughout the country.”

The inaugural Junior Golf Hub Championship took place Aug. 15-18, 2016 at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, New Jersey. Lukas Clark of Holland, Pennsylvania, was the Boys Division Champion, while Kelly Sim of Edgewater, New Jersey, claimed the Girls Division title.

At the second annual Golf Performance Center Championship, Sim won her second AJGA title of 2016, while Grayson Wotnosky of Wake Forest, North Carolina, earned his first AJGA victory. The event ran from Oct. 7-9 at The Redding Country Club in Redding, Connecticut.
