BRASELTON, Ga. — The American Junior Golf Association has announced a partnership with Clicgear USA as the Preferred Push Cart of the AJGA. Clicgear is the industry leader of golf push cart technology and design.

“We are thrilled to have Clicgear USA as the Preferred Push Cart of the AJGA,” said Jason Etzen, chief business officer. “With their support, we will be able to provide AJGA members with the opportunity to use new Clicgear technology at every event.”

In 2008, the AJGA first allowed push cart use at selected events and after reviewing research supporting the health benefits of push cart use, especially for junior golfers, expanded permission to all events in 2009. Today more than 50% of AJGA players use a push cart across all tournaments.

As a part of the partnership, Clicgear USA will provide a designated number of push carts at AJGA tournaments.

“Clicgear USA is excited to partner with AJGA,” said Todd Hansen, national sales manager of Clicgear USA. “We understand for us to continue to grow and have an impact on golfers, we need to catch them early. There’s no better partner than AJGA if you want to get in front of the best junior players in the country and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship”.
