Moving Day

It's Moving Day at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Rachel Heck of Memphis Tennessee, is in the hunt for her first AJGA Invitational after three top-five finishes in Invitationals this season. The Stanford University verbal commit had 11 birdies through two rounds, tied for the most in the field. The reigning Rolex Junior Player of the Year Paphangkorn Tavatanakit of Thailand, sits just two shots back after two closing birdies in her final three holes. Erica Shepherd of Greenwood, Indiana, rounds out the final pairing after a 1-under-par 71 second round.

Volunteers

More than 60 volunteers are working at Biltmore Forest Country Club this week for the 26th annual Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Members of the club and local residents are helping at timing stations, live scoring on every hole, working as standard bearers and providing shuttles to and from the range.

A Night to Remember

Lisa Cornwell joined the Player Dinner Wednesday night to discuss her career in golf and her work as the host of Golf Central at the Golf Channel. The girls enjoyed a gourmet meal at Biltmore Forest Country Club and snapped photos at the photo station before heading into Thursday's third round.
