Defending Champion

Defending champion Eugene Hong currently sits in second. He is one stroke behind the leader heading into the final round. The 2016 Haas Family Invitational presented by BB&T was his first Invitational victory. Hong looks to become the first repeat champion of this event since Brian Harman in 2003 and 2004.

PGA TOUR Venue

Sedgefield Country Club hosts the Wyndham Championship in August. The Haas Family Invitational presented by BB&T uses similar hole locations and course conditions to the TOUR event. Through three rounds of the event, the hardest hole for the juniors is No. 18 which is playing .48 strokes over par. The hardest hole for the pros was the same hole which played .3 strokes over par. The easiest hole for the pros was No. 5 which played at .66 under par. The same hole is the easiest for the juniors at .36 strokes under par.

Leader in Familiar Territory

Ben Wong leads heading into the final round and he has been in this position before. At the CB&I / Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods in February, he held the lead heading into the final round. He came up just short in Texas, but the experience will help him during the final round.
