Stacy Lewis

LPGA Tour pro and University of Arkansas legend Stacy Lewis is hosting the third annual Invitational. Monday night, Lewis hosted a Q & A with the junior golfers, as well as signed autographs. Lewis holds 11 LGPA wins, two majors titles and three Solheim Cup appearances. She also represented the United States at the 2016 Olympics.

Fayetteville Country Club

The first round of the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational begins Tuesday, June 20, at the Fayetteville Country Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is the first year that the club will host the tournament. The course will play as a par-71 for the girls and a par-70 for the boys.

Format

Making its third appearance, the Invitational will feature mixed pairings. LPGA Tour champion Stacy Lewis pitched the idea of a mixed playing field in 2015 in an effort to promote the development of gender-blind competition. With the team competition setup, overall team champions will be calculated based on the top-four day-to-day boys’ and girls’ scores. On Tuesday, one boy and one girl will take to the tee in an effort to become the overall champions.
