In week three of the AJGA summer schedule, six tournaments concluded and 12 AJGA juniors joined the winner’s circle. The tournament rounds ended with one sudden-death playoff, one title defense and eight first-time AJGA champions.

Under Armour® / Scott Stallings Championship presented by Pilot Flying J  Bryce Lewis of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Alyssa Montgomery of Knoxville, Tennessee, won in the Under Armour® / Scott Stallings Championship presented by Pilot Flying J at Oak Ridge Country Club in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Lewis broke the tournament record after finishing at 14-under-par 202. The 17-year-old also won the 2016 AJGA Preview at Innisbrook (Ages 12-15) and has verbally committed to Middle Tennessee State University. Montgomery posted a 1-under-par 215 to claim her first AJGA victory. The 16-year-old has seven other top-10 finishes in her four-year AJGA career.

EMoney®.com / Daniel Berger Junior Championship Two AJGA juniors earned their first event titles at the EMoney®.com / Daniel Berger Junior Championship at The Dye Preserve Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. Luke Gifford of Boca Raton, Florida, carded 11 birdies to finish at 3-over-par 219. The 17-year-old has verbally committed to the University of South Florida. Jillian Bourdage of Tamarac, Florida, won the Girls Division by 10 strokes and finished at 7-under-par 209 with 11 birdies and an eagle. The 15-year-old has three prior top-10 finishes in her two-year AJGA career.

KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational A pair of Californians won their second AJGA titles at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational at Fayetteville Country Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Jackson Rivera of Rancho Santa Fe, California, finished at 6-under-par 204 to win by two strokes. The University of Southern California verbal commit also won the 2016 Killington Junior Golf Championship and stands at No. 74 in the AJGA Rankings. Zoe Antoinette Campos of Valencia, California, finished the final round tied with Michaela Morard of Huntsville, Alabama, at 4-under-par 209 to force a sudden-death playoff. Campos birdied the first hole to win the title. The 14-year-old earned an exemption to the Symetra Tour’s Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout. The KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational marked the 14-year-old’s first Invitational win, and her seventh top-10 finish in her three-year AJGA career.

Insperity Invitational / Patrick Reed AJGA Junior Championship presented by Callaway Golf Another two juniors won their first AJGA titles at The Woodlands Country Club – Tournament Course in The Woodlands, Texas. Christopher Chomyn of Irvine, California, notched a two-stroke win at 3-under-par 213. The 17-year-old has two other top-15 finishes during his four-year AJGA career. Zixuan (Jennifer) Zhou of (China) Longwood, Florida, finished at 1-over-par 217 to claim her first AJGA title. Zhou, a 17-year-old, is No. 54 in the AJGA Rankings and has earned nine top-10 finishes since 2015.

Mill Creek Foundation Junior All-Star Maxwell Moldovan of Uniontown, Ohio, executed a title defense at Mill Creek Golf Course after finishing at 7-under-par 203. The 15-year-old is in his second year with the AJGA. Taylor Kehoe of Strathroy, Ontario, recorded three birdies in the final round on her way to a wire-to-wire 5-under-par 205 finish for her first victory. Kehoe finished with a commanding six-stroke lead. The 13-year-old is in her second year with the AJGA.

AJGA Reno / Tahoe Junior at ArrowCreek  Two players from the state of California went wire-to-wire to earn their first AJGA titles. Alex Zhu of San Ramon, California, won the Boys Division with a tournament total 20 birdies to finish at 9-under-par 207. The 16-year-old has amassed nine top-10 AJGA finishes and is No. 88 in the AJGA Rankings. Mika Jin of Fremont, California, finished the tournament at 1-over-par 217. The 15-year-old is in her second year with the AJGA and has finished in the top 10 in all her national tournament appearances.
