Future Aggies to compete
Three Texas A&M commits will compete on their future home course. Connor Black of Humble, Texas, and Andrew Paysse of Temple, Texas, will join the men's roster in the Fall. Maddie Szeryk of Allen, Texas, will be adding her name to the women's roster for the Fall semester.
Past champion in the field
Taylor Coleman of San Antonio, returns to Traditions Club at Texas A&M after winning the Girls Division in 2011. Coleman has nine top-10 finishes in her AJGA career including four AJGA victories.
Traditions Club at Texas A&M
Traditions Club at Texas A&M features some of the most beautiful rolling terrain in Texas. The Jack Nicklaus designed course features hardwoods and meandering creeks. It challenges golfers off the tee and forces players to choose their approach carefully. The course is also the home to the Texas A&M golf teams. Their state of the art practice facility is also located on the grounds.

Top Players to Watch

Nathan Jeansonne, Keithville, La. (2015)
Currently ranked No. 36 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Jeansonne has put together ten top-20 finishes in his AJGA career including two victories and a T3 finish at the 2013 Polo Golf Junior Classic. Jeansonne, who has made a verbal commitment to Louisiana State University, returns to Traditions after a T13 finish in 2013.
Wes Artac, Kingwood, Texas (2014)
No. 37 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Artac has amased twelve top-20 finishes in his AJGA career, including a win at the 2013 Genesis Shootout presented by the Valero Texas Open. Artac will be playing in his fifth Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions. His previous best finish was in 2012 when he finished T4. Artac has signed a National Letter of Intent with Texas Tech.
Tony Gil, Vaughan, Ontario (2016)
Currently No. 39 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Gil four AJGA top-10 finishes including a win at the 2013 CorseMax / Philadelphia Runner Junior. Gil is playing in his first Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions.
Lakareber Abe, Angleton, Texas (2014)
No. 6 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Abe has put together 11 top-10 finishes in her AJGA career, including a ninth place finish at the 2014 ANNIKA Invitational. She is playing in her fifth Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions with her previous best finish in 2013 when she was runner-up.
Kristen Gillman, Austin, Texas (2016)
Currently No. 7 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Gillman has amassed ten top-10 finishes in her AJGA career, including a win at the 2013 Genesis Shootout presented by the Valero Texas Open. She will be playing in her fourth Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions. She achieved her highest finish in 2013 when she placed third.
Maddie Szeryk, Allen, Texas (2014)
No. 18 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Szeryk has put together 14 top-10 finishes in her AJGA career, including three wins. She started 2014 strong with a third-place finish in the Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship. Szerky, who has signed a National Letter of Intent with Texas A&M, will be playing in her third Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions. Her best finish was eighth-place in 2012.

Media Accommodations

The Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-18) of more than 6,300 members from 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries. Through initiatives like the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation.
