The Courses at Waters Creek to host first AJGA event
The Plano, Texas, facility is a collection of three courses. The par-72 Traditions Course will play host to 96 of the world's best junior golfers in its first-ever AJGA event.
Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series
The Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series is designed specifically for juniors ages 12-15. The series features 14 events across the United States and wraps up with the Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF in October. This event recognizes all series champions and features the top contenders from the series throughout the year.

Top Players to Watch

David Giandomenico, Boynton Beach, Fla. (2018)
Coming off his first-ever AJGA victory at the Junior All-Star at Château Élan with tournament rounds of 67-70-73--210, Giandomenico looks to continue his strong 2014 campaign. The 14-year-old Floridian has one other top-10 finish to date, a tie for ninth at the 2013 Junior All-Star at Mira Vista.
Sam Bennett, Madisonville, Texas (2018)
Bennett has played in three AJGA events in his first two seasons, finishing in the top-15 each time. In his first event, the 2013 Junior All-Star at Gray Plantation, Bennett fired rounds of 72-69-72--213 to earn a tie for fourth. In 2013, Bennett finished T15 at the Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions and T2 at the Junior All-Star at Hot Springs Village.
Yujeong Son, (South Korea) Norman, Okla. (2019)
Son, the highest ranked player in the field at No. 130 in the Polo Golf Rankings, recorded top-10 finishes in both of her previous AJGA tournaments. Son finished T3 in the 2013 Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLf and finished eighth in her first event of 2014, the Junior All-Star at Hot Springs Village.
Binny Lee, Frisco, Texas (2017)
Lee, who is starting her fourth AJGA season, has compiled six top-10 finishes in her career. She has two runner-up finishes, first at the 2012 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior Open and again at the 2014 Junior All-Star at Hot Springs Village.

Media Accommodations

The TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior All-Star at Watters Creek will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

Junior All-Star Series

The TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior All-Star at Watters Creek is one of 15 events in the Junior All-Star Series. Specifically designed for boys and girls ages 12-15, the Junior All-Star Series presents opportunities for younger players to develop their skills and earn entry into AJGA Open tournaments. The Series concludes with the Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF over Columbus Day weekend for winners and top finishers in Junior All-Star Series events.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-18) of more than 6,300 members from 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries. Through initiatives like the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation.
