Championship history
As the longest-running tournament on the AJGA schedule, it’s no surprise to find some of golf’s biggest names on the list of past champions. Former champions have gone on to succeed not only at the amateur and collegiate levels but at the professional level as well. Notable alumni who have competed in the Rolex Tournament of Champions include Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk, Paula Creamer, 2004 champion Morgan Pressel, 2003 champion Inbee Park, 2001 champion Webb Simpson and three-time victor Phil Mickelson.
Collegiate success
Former winners have also gone on to receive collegiate All-America nods, All-Conference accolades and National Championships, including Jamie Lovemark, Heather Bowie and Charles Howell II. A staple for college recruiting, more than 50 colleges and universities will be represented at the 2015 event. The field also features 86 players who have made college commitments.
USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award
Hannah Berman of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Nick Leibold of Littleton, Colorado, will compete on an exemption after being named recipients of the 2015 USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award.
