Each year since 1990, Wyndham Cup has featured the top-20 boys and top-20 girls in the country in a team match play format. The event pits the top-10 boys and top-10 girls from the West versus their counterparts from the East. Wyndham Cup teams will be determined based upon the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
NOTES: East/West teams are based on members’ U.S. addresses. The country dividing line runs from the eastern border of Texas and extends northward through the eastern border of North Dakota.
Team eligibility will be based on the following criteria:
- Must be 12-19 years old
- Must be current AJGA members in good standing to receive an invitation
- Must compete in a minimum of two AJGA tournaments between January 1 and June 29, 2018
- The top-nine boys and top-nine girls from the East and the top-nine boys and top-nine girls from the West will be invited based on the June 18, 2018 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision^
- The final spots on each team will be awarded to the boy and girl with the best Rolex AJGA Ranking as of the June 29, 2018 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision who were not previously offered a spot and who participated in the 2018 Polo Golf Junior Classic
NOTE: In the event that an original invitee is unable to participate, the replacement player will be invited based on the current Rolex AJGA Rankings in effect at the time the spot becomes available (once official practice rounds have begun for the Polo Golf Junior Classic, any spot that becomes available will be filled using the Rolex AJGA Rankings revision following completion of the tournament).
^Members who are in the field of an AJGA tournament(s) through June 29, 2018 in order to satisfy the two AJGA tournament minimum will be eligible at this qualification date. They must compete in the respective tournament(s) to remain eligible.
