2024 RLX Ralph Lauren Junior Classic

June 24 - 28, 2024 | Farmingdale, N.Y.

This tournament will have a match play format in 2024.

2024 Wyndham Cup

July 8 - 11, 2024 | Johns Island, S.C.

Since 1990, Wyndham Cup has featured the top-20 boys and top-20 girls in the country in a team match play format. The event pits the top-10 boys and top-10 girls from the West versus their counterparts from the East. Wyndham Cup teams will be determined based upon the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

NOTES: East/West teams are based on members' U.S. addresses. The country dividing line runs from the eastern border of Texas and extends northward through the eastern border of North Dakota.

Team eligibility will be based on the following criteria:

  1. Must be 12-19 years old
  2. Must be current AJGA members in good standing to receive an invitation
  3. Must compete in a minimum of two AJGA tournaments between January 1 and June 28, 2024
  4. The top five boys and top five girls from the East and the top five boys and top five girls from the West will be invited based on the May 29, 2024 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision^
  5. The next top four boys from the East and the next top four boys from the West will be invited based on June 18, 2024 Rolex Rankings revision^
  6. The next top four girls from the East and the next top four girls from the West will be invited based on the June 25, 2024 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision^
  7. The final spots on each team will be awarded to the boy and girl with the best Rolex AJGA Ranking based on the July 2, 2024 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision.

NOTE: In the event that an original invitee is unable to participate, the replacement player will be invited based on the current Rolex AJGA Rankings in effect at the time the spot becomes available (once official practice rounds have begun for an AJGA tournament directly preceding the next qualification date, any spot that becomes available will be filled using the Rolex AJGA Rankings revision following completion of the tournament).

^Members who are in the field of an AJGA tournament(s) with an end date through June 28, 2024, in order to satisfy the two AJGA tournament minimum will be eligible at this qualification date. They must compete in the respective tournament(s) to remain eligible.

2024 The Junior PLAYERS Championship presented by Rolex

Aug. 29 - Sept. 1, 2024 | Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

2024 PING Junior Solheim Cup

Sep. 9 - 10, 2024 | Arlington, Va.

The next PING Junior Solheim Cup will be held September 9 - 10, 2024, at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. The 2024 event will mark the 13th PING Junior Solheim Cup, with the United States leading the all-time series 7-4-1. The USA team selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Participants must be citizens of United States of America.
  • Participants must be 12-18 years old.
  • Participants must be current AJGA members in good standing.
  • Participants must be amateurs and must not be members of a competitive collegiate golf program in order to be eligible to play in the PING Junior Solheim Cup.
  • The leading five qualified players on the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings list as of the Rankings update July 23, 2024. In the event of a tie for the fifth place, the selection will be determined by individual standings on the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
  • The leading five qualified players based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings list not otherwise selected (having selected the five players from the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings first) as of the Rankings update July 23, 2024.  In the event of a tie for the fifth place, the selection will be decided by individual standing on the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings list.
  • The Captain will choose the remaining two players for the PING Junior Solheim Cup team on or before August 6, 2024. The Captain’s selections will be required to be among the qualified top point earners on either of the aforementioned lists and/or have distinguished records in USGA events.

2024 Junior Presidents Cup

Sept. 22 - 24, 2024 | Montréal, Québec, Canada

Teams will consist of the top 24 junior boys from the United States and around the world, excluding Europe, split up into teams of 12. Participants for both teams must be at least 12 years old by the start of the tournament and must have not reached their 19th birthday or have yet graduated high school as of January 1, 2024*.

Additionally, participants must be amateurs who have not yet started college and are not members of a competitive collegiate golf program in order to be eligible to play in the Junior Presidents Cup.

*Players graduating in the final four months (Sept. – Dec.) of the year will be considered part of the following year’s graduating class.

U.S. Team Selection / Eligibility Criteria

  • On August 8, 2024, the leading 10 qualified players based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings will be selected along with the 11th player, who will be selected by the U.S. Team Captain.
  • The 12th and final spot will be awarded to the leading player based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings as of September 5, 2024, who is not otherwise qualified.
  • In the event of a tie, the selection will be decided by the individual ranked highest on the World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) list at that time.
  • For the August 8, 2024, selection date, the 52-week rankings window will include ranked events with an end date of August 8, 2023 – August 5, 2024, while the September 5, 2024, selection date 52-week rankings window will include ranked events with an end date of September 5, 2023 – September 2, 2024.
  • Each U.S. Team participant must also be a citizen of the United States and must be a current AJGA member in good standing.

International Team Selection / Eligibility Criteria

  • On August 8, 2024, the leading 10 qualified players based on the World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) will be selected along with the 11th player, who will be selected by the International Team Captain.
  • The host country is guaranteed at least one spot on the International Team. If no players from the host country are ranked as part of the leading 10 qualified players, the 10th spot will go to the top-ranked qualified player from the host country.
  • The 12th and final spot will be awarded to the leading player on the WAGR® list as of September 5, 2024, who is not otherwise qualified.
  • In the event of a tie, the selection will be decided by the individual ranked highest on the most recent previous World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) revision.
  • Each International Team participant must be a citizen of an eligible international Presidents Cup country (excludes European Ryder Cup countries).
  • To be eligible to appear on the International Team standings, players MUST have their birthdate on file with WAGR®. Once a WAGR® Ranking is established, submit the WAGR® Player Submission Form  .

    The AJGA reserves the right to modify Invitational criteria.

    * Subsequent invitations will be sent using the most current revision of the Rolex AJGA Rankings which will be reflected on the Invitational Priority List available after the initial application deadline. Invitational Priority Lists are available on the Rolex AJGA Rankings homepage.

    ** Additional tournament spots are allocated to local supporters who help the AJGA conduct each event. Providing these spots to award to talented junior golfers is a means for the AJGA to show appreciation for the efforts and support of our extended team. The AJGA will not accept any requests or relay contact information for these spots either directly or indirectly. Attempts to solicit the AJGA or others associated with the event are strongly discouraged.
