June 17, 2016 - Reiter cards the 2nd lowest 54-hole round in AJGA History

Haas Family Invitational

  • Eugene Hong of Sanford, Florida, took the lead after the second round and never looked back, as his 6-under-par total was four strokes clear of the field at Sedgefield Country Club, home of the PGA TOUR’s Wyndham Championship.

Rolex Girls Junior Championship

  • Gina Kim of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, closed with a bogey-free 33 and turned a three-stroke deficit into a two-stroke victory at The Country Club of Rochester.

PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten

  • Charlie Reiter of Palm Desert, California, carded a 15-under-par 195 total, the second-lowest 54-hole score in AJGA history, en route to a 12-stroke victory. He carded 21 birdies and aced the 16th hole in the first round.
  • Grace Ni of Cypress, Texas, recorded her third career AJGA win and second of the year. Her 3-under-par total was eight shots better than the field.

Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior

  • Billy Basham of Louisville, Kentucky, carded a final-round 65 en route to an 8-under-par total and a two-stroke victory.
  • After a fourth- and second-place finish in her previous two AJGA tournaments, Rino Sasaki of Bradenton, Florida, broke through with her first win with a 3-over-par total.
  • This marked the 33rd consecutive year Bellefonte Country Club hosted the National Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior hosted by J.B. Holmes.

AJGA Junior All-Star at Lost Springs

  • Harmie Constantino of Taguig, Philippines, won the Girls Division with a tournament total of 13-under-par. The win is Constantino’s second AJGA victory in as many weeks, as she also won the Under Armour® / Gary Woodland Championship.
  • Braedon Wear of Maryville, Tennessee, birdied the 18th hole en route to a 2-under-par total and a one-stroke victory, the first of his AJGA career.

AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes

  • Hailee Cooper of Montgomery, Texas, finished at 5-under-par and earned her sixth AJGA victory. The 16-year-old has won an AJGA tournament each year since 2013.
  • Taylor Larsen of Garden City, Kansas, won his hometown tournament in a sudden-death playoff. He secured his first AJGA title with a par on the second playoff hole.
