Paphangkorn Tavatanakit of Van Nuys, California, is No. 1 in the AJGA Rankings. The UCLA commit has four titles to her name, most recently at the 2016 Rolex Tournament of Champions. In 2016, the 17-year-old competed in the U.S. Women’s Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship, advancing to the Round of 16 in both events. After finishing T2 at the 2017 ANA Junior Inspiration, Tavatanakit played in the ANA Inspiration as an amateur. The reigning Rolex Junior Player of the Year most recently qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open after she won a qualifier at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, California.
