In Memory of Patricia K. Bingham
Forty-four year Hilton Head Island resident Patricia Ann Bingham passed of natural causes at home on May 1 at age 87.
Pat was an avid golfer. All four of her children (Glenn, Susan, Kurt and Amy) and granddaughter (Sara) started playing golf as juniors and developed a shared love of the game with their mom.
To honor Pat, and allow others to learn to love the game, a donation may be made in her name to the American Junior Golf Association's ACE Grant program to support junior golfers. 100% of donations will serve female junior golfers from the Hilton Head and South Carolina areas.

Pat was a long-time member of the Hilton Head Island Women’s Golf Association, Beaufort County Women’s Golf Association, Low Country Women’s Golf Association, South Carolina Women’s Senior Golf Association, and Sun City Women’s Golf Association.
She was quite successful: a four-time Club champion at Moss Creek, three-time SCWGA Club champion, and HHI Women’s Golf Association stroke play champion. She won multiple championships at various local, state, and national levels over her 67-year golf career. She also had eight holes-in-one along the way - left is the photo from her first!
Pat was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, and will be dearly missed by her children, extended family, friends and golf partners.
