TOUR Highlights: May 17

Symetra Tour

Céline Boutier, a 23-year-old AJGA alumna, won on the Symetra Tour on May 14 in a playoff at the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Women’s Health Classic. Boutier parred the first playoff hole to defeat Paola Moreno at The Links at Stoney Point.

Boutier, originally from Montrouge, France, earned several top finishes with the AJGA from 2010-12. After reaching the quarterfinals of the 2010 Polo Golf Junior Classic in her AJGA debut, Boutier won the 2011 ANNIKA Invitational on her way to becoming a Rolex Junior All-American. Boutier went on to compete at Duke University where she was a member of the 2014 national championship team.

PGA TOUR

While Si Woo Kim stole the show to become the youngest champion at THE PLAYERS Championship, some AJGA alumni also left their mark at TPC Sawgrass. Kyle Stanley, who finished T4 at 6-under-par 282, earned his best finish since 2013.

Stanley was a standout golfer with the AJGA from 2004-06, earning Rolex Junior All-America honors all three years. Stanley earned two wins during his AJGA career, including the prestigious CB&I / Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods in 2005.
