- Participation in AJGA events is reserved for amateur golfers
- The minimum age requirement is 12 years old
- For events Ages 12 - 15: Juniors who have not reached their 15th birthday AND have not graduated high school* as of January 1 of the event year are eligible
- For events Ages 12 - 19: Juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday AND have not graduated high school* as of January 1 of the event year are eligible
- Once a player starts college, they are no longer eligible, regardless of age
*Players graduating in the final four months (Sept. - Dec.) of the year will be considered part of the following year's graduating class
