2020 Wyndham Cup

July 6 - 9, 2020 | Site TBD

Each year since 1990, Wyndham Cup has featured the top-20 boys and top-20 girls in the country in a team match play format. The event pits the top-10 boys and top-10 girls from the West versus their counterparts from the East. Wyndham Cup teams will be determined based upon the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

NOTES: East/West teams are based on members’ U.S. addresses. The country dividing line runs from the eastern border of Texas and extends northward through the eastern border of North Dakota.

Team eligibility will be based on the following criteria:

  • Must be 12-19 years old
  • Must be current AJGA members in good standing to receive an invitation
  • The top nine boys and top nine girls from the East and the top nine boys and top nine girls from the West will be invited based on the June 15, 2020 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision
  • The final spots on each team will be awarded to the boy and girl with the best Rolex AJGA Ranking based on the June 26, 2020 Rolex AJGA Rankings revision who are not already on the team and who participated in the 2020 Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty National.

NOTE: In the event that an original invitee is unable to participate, the replacement player will be invited based on the current Rolex AJGA Rankings in effect at the time the spot becomes available (once official practice rounds have begun for an AJGA tournament directly preceding the next qualification date, any spot that becomes available will be filled using the Rolex AJGA Rankings revision following completion of the tournament).

Criteria for remaining 2020 Invitational tournaments will be posted once available.

The AJGA reserves the right to modify Invitational criteria.

* Subsequent invitations will be sent using the most current revision of the Rolex AJGA Rankings which will be reflected on the Invitational Priority List available after the initial application deadline. Invitational Priority Lists are available on the Rolex AJGA Rankings homepage.

** Additional tournament spots are allocated to local supporters who help the AJGA conduct each event. Providing these spots to award to talented junior golfers is a means for the AJGA to show appreciation for the efforts and support of our extended team. The AJGA will not accept any requests or relay contact information for these spots either directly or indirectly. Attempts to solicit the AJGA or others associated with the event are strongly discouraged.
