AJGA alumni Xander Schauffele of San Diego, California, won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics men’s golf competition played at Kasumigaseki Country Club near Tokyo, Japan. Schauffele shot rounds of 68-63-68-67 for a tournament total of 18-under-par 266. He defeated Rory Sabbatini, who represented Slovakia, by one stroke after sinking a 5-foot par putt on hole No. 18.

Schauffele's highest AJGA finish was runner-up at the 2010 Se Ri Pak Desert Junior. The San Diego State University golf alum had four additional top-10 finishes at AJGA tournaments during his junior golf career.

AJGA alumni C.T. Pan of Bradenton, Florida, won the bronze medal for Chinese Taipei. He shot a tournament total of 15-under-par 269. Pan defeated six other players in a four-hole playoff to finish on the podium and become the first Olympic medalist in golf for Chinese Taipei.

Pan's highest finish in an AJGA event was runner-up at the 2008 Mizuno Junior at Innisbrook. He was also a Rolex Junior All-American in 2009. Pan recently hosted the C.T. Pan Junior Championship for the second time.

AJGA alumna Pajaree Anannarukarn of Bangkok, Thailand, won the ISPS Handa World Invitational presented by Modest! Golf Management at Galgorm Castle Golf Club / Massereene Golf Club in Galgorm, Northern Ireland. She defeated fellow AJGA alum Emma Talley in a two-hole playoff to claim her first professional golf victory. Anannarukarn shot rounds of 70-69-66-70 for a tournament total of 16-under-par 275.

Anannarukarn won three AJGA tournaments as a junior, including the 2015 David Toms Foundation Shreveport Junior, 2015 Lockton Kansas City Junior, and 2015 St. Francisville Area Foundation Junior at The Bluffs.
